Old School Alex Vector Conversion

I created this set of vectors for Alex Carmona, who specializes in traditional printmaking and art, producing relief prints from wood or linoleum plates that he carves by hand.

Alex wanted the ability to screen print his original, woodblock prints. Admittedly, Alex had other graphic designers try to reproduce his work before but had little success, often having to invest his own time to fix mistakes and inconsistencies in the vectors. I was able to reproduce his prints in vector form. For each piece, I redrew everything in Illustrator using the Pen and Pencil Tools. I created custom pattern fills for the line executions.

To date, one of the most challenging projects I have tackled, also the most rewarding!
